Eva Housing is a technology company registered in the Netherlands (KVK: 42033836), operating at Molenstraat 5, 4161CJ Heukelum. We operate an AI-powered property valuation assistant delivered through the WhatsApp Business platform.

2. What data we collect and why
We collect the following personal data and process it for the purposes listed below:

We do not collect sensitive personal data as defined under GDPR Article 9 (health, religion, political views etc.).

4. Who we share your data with
We share your data only with trusted processors who handle it on our behalf:
- Twilio — WhatsApp Business API messaging (USA, covered by Standard Contractual Clauses)
- Netlify — Website hosting (USA, covered by Standard Contractual Clauses)
- Mollie — Payment processing (Netherlands, GDPR compliant)
- Dutch government APIs — BAG, WOZ, EP-Online, Kadaster. Your postcode and house number are sent to retrieve property data from these public registers.
- CBS, RIVM, Politie open data — Read-only neighbourhood data. No personal data is sent to these sources.
We never sell your data to third parties. We never share your data with real estate agents, advertisers or data brokers.
5. Data transfers outside the EU
Twilio and Netlify are US-based services. All data transfers to these providers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission. Details are available on request by contacting [email protected].
6. WhatsApp and Meta
Eva Housing communicates via the WhatsApp Business API. Meta Platforms (WhatsApp's parent company) processes message metadata as part of delivering the service. We do not control Meta's data processing. Please refer to Meta's Privacy Policy for details.
We do not store full conversation transcripts beyond 30 days. Messages are used only to provide and improve the valuation service.
7. Your rights under GDPR
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting prior processing

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
8. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens within 72 hours as required by GDPR Article 33.
9. Use of data for ML model improvement
We may use anonymised and aggregated interaction data — stripped of all personal identifiers including name, email and phone number — to retrain and improve our property valuation model. This processing is based on legitimate interest. You may object to this use by contacting [email protected].
10. Cookies
Our website (evahousing.com) uses Google Fonts, which makes a network request to Google's servers to load typography. No tracking, advertising or analytics cookies are used. If this changes, we will update this policy and request your consent before any non-essential cookies are placed.
11. Children
Our service is not directed at children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Registered users will be notified via WhatsApp when material changes are made. The current version is always available at evahousing.com/privacy. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
